"Gimme More" may be one of the top songs in the country, but not everyone wants to record with Britney Spears. British rock band, Keane turned down the chance to write for the pop star -- even though they're penned tunes for Gwen Stefani and Pussycat Dolls. "After the Gwen thing we were offered a lot of work," Keane keyboardist Tim Rice-Oxley tells UK's The Mirror. "But both Gwen and Nicole [Scherzinger] from Pussycat Dolls are phenomenally talented, and we wouldn’t want to start diluting that level of musical quality." Ouch.
