Stars can be weird, that's for sure. And Mary-Kate Olsen perfectly exemplifies that eccentricity. Here's the deal. Ever wonder why MK left NYU? It wasn't to pursue her acting career (that guest spot on Weeds and cut part from Factory Girl would've made it so worth it). Nope, it was because the actress/mini-mogul says her classmates were spying on her and selling their stories to tabloids, or working at magazines that would print any info about her. "They'd have internships at the weeklies," she says. "Learning is not fun if you're not safe." (Um, how is that any different from living among the paparazzi in L.A.?) Regardless, MK can still go back to finish year-and-a-half left she has to getting her degree -- when she's less paranoid, that is.
