Perilous Penn

We've seen Dan Humphrey sustain some pretty embarrassing moments on Gossip Girl -- finding out he's the last one to know who Hilary Duff's character Olivia Burke is, scribbling about Serena before she even knew his name -- but we were shocked to find out what his most embarrassing moment is in real life! "I forgot the word 'perilous,'" Penn tells the NY Daily News, about his humiliating go at singing the national anthem at age 14 at a Tacoma Rainiers game. "It wasn't that I forgot the word specifically, but I reached that point of the song, 'through the perilous fight,' and my mind just blanked. I just said, 'Umm,' turned around, [I heard] the whole crowd yelling 'perilous' and I said, 'Oh, thanks,' and then I just started to back up." Aw!
