Meet Paolo Nutini!

Hey --

I recently had the pleasure of being in Manchester, Tennessee for Bonnaroo. What a total freak show! Anytime you can get 80,000 people together in a field, good times are surely bound to happen….

The first thing I can tell you is that it is HOT in Tennessee. I don't think it has ever been as hot in my hometown of Paisley as it was at Bonnaroo. Smoking hot!!!!

I spent a lot of time in media tent, talking to a bunch of different radio station folks who had all traveled in for the festival. It was cool to get to hear all of the different types of American accents mixed together in one big room. After that, I was on a press conference with Dierks Bentley and Michael Franti. I was asked about Texas Tea, which is one of my favorite beverages, and I like to talk about almost as much as much as I like drinking it. After that, it was time for our set, which seemed to go over well although the band and I thought it was not really our most top-notch performance ever.

My day at Bonnaroo was capped off by running into my good friend Charles Attal. Charles and his crew are from Austin, Texas. They run Stubbs BBQ, and they also put on Lollapalooza and the Austin City Limits Festival. Charles is also the guy who helped teach me to drive in Luke Wilson's car the last time I was in Austin. Now that was top notch for sure!!!!
