Premiere Party

Dear Diary :) (I didn't forget),

Another week, another story. Fortunately, no sprained ankles this time, just a test of my sanity. Okay, here goes. So, Friday (the premiere of the show) started as a disaster!!! I was having one of those days where everything goes wrong. I dropped my make-up everywhere, shattered a couple glasses, hit every yellow light when I was already late, you know -- one of those days. So I'm headed to an important meeting about an upcoming project at 3:00 p.m. when I get a call from Brandon (Devon), my costar who came into town for the premiere. Brandon got word our big premiere party was canceled. Sooo, I began freaking out, it was so late in the day and we had nothing to do for our big night! I told Brandon "Fine! I'll hold the party at my little house! But we are still gonna have a party!!!!" Still running late, I started calling all my friends and producers to come watch the show at my place, my boyfriend and Brandon start calling all their friends as well. We didn't think anyone would show up because it was such short notice. We were just trying to put something together.

In the mean time, my house was a mess, I had a hair appointment, no food for the guests and on and on. It was suddenly sinking in I didn't have enough time to get everything done. I then got a phone call stating the signal for my television wasn't working due to construction. At this point, I was totally pulling my hair out! Long, long story short, the leaps and bounds I took to get ready to host a premiere party in 3 hours was amusing to anyone watching from a far. The good news is -- I made it and everything worked out great including the TV signal. Ohhh, except one thing -- to our surprise, more people showed up then expected, and I couldn't fit everyone in front of the screen. Who knew? I do have to say though, the rest of the night was fantastic!

However, later that night I realized why I had such a difficult day. When showing off my balcony to friends, I glanced up to see a full moon in the sky and instantly my bad day made complete sense. See, the full moon and I have a love/hate relationship. I either have the BEST day on a full moon or the WORST. Most of the time the worst, but occasionally the tides work for me and I have an intensely great day. Almost all the projects I've booked were on a full moon, and they always come in threes. Though I couldn't do all of them because of conflicting schedules, so I had to chose. Great problem to have! I know!

Anywho, Brandon stayed for the week and we had a blast. We went to Six Flags, we hung out at the Universal lot, we went hiking, we had a barbecue and what you might not know about Brandon is he can cook! He's the best cook ever! And for the 4th of July, we rode bikes down to the South Bay to watch the fireworks and party. This week was a fun little break from everything. Both Brandon and I have been totally chillaxing. Ha ha. Well hope you liked your new name Dear Dairy. Next week you can be my therapist, this is fun. :)

Two thumbs up and a big smile!
