No Pain, No Gain

Hi everybody.

Charity here, back in L.A. After all the craziness in New York, I thought this week was going to be relaxing, but I was wrong. The Best Years premiered on Friday on The N, so things became a little crazy. One of my costars and some of the producers were in town for the show. A lot of my friends were hoping I was going to have a party, but trying to please everyone wasn't been the easiest task this week. Oh well, what are you gonna do?

Anyway, I am spending the rest of my time trying to get back in the grove of things. I was at my agent's a lot this week talking about some new projects I might be interested in. I always love seeking for my next project, wondering who am I going to play next.

Oh and I forgot to tell you -- on a darker note, last week I sprained my ankle, AGAIN! See, I sprained my ankle the first time at the show's wrap party a couple months ago. Don't worry -- it was hysterical because some random person came charging pass me, hit my shoulder and I spun around tumbling to the ground in front of everyone. I was laughing so hard, yet it hurt soooo bad and I was trying to be tough acting like I was totally fine. I tried walking out of there in heels but didn't make it too far -- one of my friends carried me home.

So just when it was all healed, I was dancing in NY and whoops! I went down again but this time not to the ground avoiding public humiliation number five. I am sure I just re-injured an already damaged ankle. So yes, I have been hobbling around L.A. going from meeting to meeting having everyone ask "what happened" and I don't even have the greatest story to tell like I got in a snowboarding accident or surfing or something cool!

Well, gotta run, it's been great. I feel like this is my diary, that's the name for next week -- Dear Diary.

Till next time - peace

Charity Shea
