New York State Of Mind

Hey guys –

I’m here in the Big Apple, bringing you New York like I promised. We had so much fun this last week -- we, as in Randal Edwards (he plays Noah on the show), and Jen Miller (she plays Kathryn). I was so excited to see my buds again after so long.

Charity got to kiss someone from Degrassi…we're so jealous! Get more deets on Charity's trip! PAGE 2: The first day, I flew in with the kids from South of Nowhere, then went out to a very, very late dinner with my Dad and the cast members. The next day, all the shows went to talk with some fans and answered their questions. We then did fittings for our promo shoots for the days ahead, and then we headed off to the "The N Is So Turning Five" party. The casts from all the shows did the red carpet, which is always nerve-wracking, and in we went. The party was held at the Marquee, which was decorated beautifully. Big screen TVs everywhere presenting promos, all the shows had their own made-up drinks -- The N even had their own throw pillows to hang out on and great gift bags at the end of the night.

The next day, we had our promo shoot, which was the shoot in the bikini I mentioned last entry. Finally -- pizza! :) We got to throw Randal in a pool, have a chicken fight, do photo shoot with Valery Ortiz, watch the sunrise, and I got to kiss a cast member from Degrassi. Shhhhh...it’s a secret! OMG so scary -- we were in the middle of the last shot of the night, everyone was dancing together by the pool, Jen was diving in the pool, and then suddenly -- BOOM!!!!! A loud explosion, and everything went black. Can you imagine?! Everyone was screaming, thinking we were getting shot at! I personally thought Jen got electrocuted. It was sooooooooooooo funny. Needless to say, the shoot was over.

The next day, I had to announce my decision for Star Stylist. Time to read from a teleprompter for my first time! It was hard. I kept messing up, and I basically spent the day laughing at myself. Last night, I saw the Broadway show, A Chorus Line, and today I'm going to see the Statue of Liberty. Tomorrow I’m off. So much happened, I can’t even fit it all in. We had a blast. And that’s New York, as I know it.

Peace,

Charity
