Justin's New Movie The Invisible

So now that you know about my acting history, let me tell you a little bit about my new movie, The Invisible. I was initially drawn to the mystery aspect of it -- how do you solve a murder when you're the victim? It has a fantastic race-against-time setup with a cool supernatural element.

After I read the script, I thought the character of Nick was particularly interesting because of the fact that he occupies this state of limbo where he is literally invisible to both the living and the dead.

Beyond the unique acting challenges of that type of role, there is an ability to relate to this character on the most basic level -- that teens often feel that no one really sees or hears them. Plus, Nick gets to do something that we all fantasize about because of his situation -- be a total voyeur, listening in on his family and friends' most intimate conversations, and seeing them strip off their usual masks and guards to be who they really are.

In order to prepare for the role -- and this may sound kinda ridiculous -- I talked to myself…a lot. It helped me with the scenes where no one is reacting to me, or even looking at me.

I'm really excited for you guys to see the movie!

-- Justin.
