Hey! I’m in chilly and very cold New York City right now for…my album release!!!! I can’t believe the day is finally here! Headstrong is out in stores now! So I am in New York to do all these release week things, like TV appearances and interviews and stuff like that. But yesterday I did find some time to go to a record store and check out Headstrong actually in the racks. It was pretty cool; I never thought I’d see my own CD sitting there with everyone else’s. I made my Mom take lots of pics! LOL.

The days have been packed with press and TV, starting at 4 or 5 a.m., so I’m definitely feeling exhausted. I’m trying to catch extra sleep throughout the day any time that I can. Car rides, lunchtime, anywhere. So if you see me sleeping somewhere, just give me a few minutes! Haha, just kidding. The most surreal moment so far was when we went to the FYE store in the Palisades mall on release day to do an autograph signing. And there were two or three thousand people waiting in line to meet me! It was crazy! I couldn’t believe it, and I just felt overwhelmed and so grateful. I definitely was tired by then after starting the day at 4 a.m., but everyone’s energy there kept my energy up also. So thank you to everyone and anyone who came out that night!

Now I am looking forward to my whole family coming out to New York to celebrate the Headstrong album release with me. Planet Hollywood is throwing a very nice party to celebrate, and all my family is coming out for that. I am excited to see everyone; it will be like a family reunion! I am also doing this ceremony where I put my handprints into cement for them, so I’m taking off all my rings and things right now before they get cemented to my hand forever! My family also got this huge cake made for the release party with my album cover printed on the top of it. It’s HUGE! And I think it will be weird cutting into my face when I cut the cake. Haha.

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the album. I put a lot of work into it and a lot of myself into the songs, so I hope you guys have fun with it, dance around, and be happy! Thanks again for all your support, this has been a crazy week and a dream come true!! I love you guys!!!
