I hope this blog post finds you well. Since we spoke last, I've settled in my new apartment and unpacked a zillion boxes. Monday the 3rd of December was indeed a red-letter evening. I saw my good friend Ted perform with his fabulous group Tegan and Sara in Seattle. It was an inspired evening. The Showbox Theatre is a strange venue for me to see an indie rock concert in. The last time I was there I think I saw Morbid Angel and Soulfly...so it was a bit...different. Definitely check them out if you like good music.

Oh... Hi! You snuck up on me.
I just got back from Whistler (it's north of Vancouver, Canada) for the first snowboard run of the season. I had a wicked fantastic time. I fell down a lot, maintained some injuries and got a nasty cold... but it still beats just about anything else. Hmm...what else? I rented a U-Haul van! Pretty exciting. I get to cram all my worldly possessions into it come month's end, and enjoy a fun-filled day of moving! Yay! But seriously, it's awesome -- I love my new apartment. The building manager is kind of a weirdo, but I know we'll get along just fine.

Party Party...
So Joe and I had a great time at the Victoria’s Secret party... Joe didn't hit on any of the models 'cause they were 10 feet taller than him. I got freaked out when I saw Seal and his wife, Heidi Klum. She has to be the most beautiful woman I've ever seen... After the party, we went over to Teddy's at the Roosevelt, high-fived some friends, got some burgers, and called it a night.

I'm back to Paso Robles to visit the fam and rehearse some music with my band, Bonnie Dune.

Band stuff...
Rehearsals with my band, Bonnie Dune have been going well... I think we've surprised ourselves with how quickly everything has been coming together. Cannot wait to start playing live in December/January!
L.A. stuff...
Joe (he plays Manny on Kaya) is coming into town, and we're going to get crazy. The first night, dinner and drinks with some cast and crew from Kaya, then we’re off to an opening of some club that will probably be lame, but at least there will be free food/drinks.
