Get Your Hands Off Of Me!!

Last Monday night was the last night of our tour with The Used. It was a bittersweet night, because on one hand we got to go home for the first time in a couple of months, but on the other hand, we had to say goodbye to our new friends The Used -- who, by the way, are four of the coolest dudes you will ever meet!

And the show itself was pretty rocking, the crowd was great, and it actually may have been the best show of the tour. But halfway through our last song, "Perfect," I ran into a little problem with the security guards...

Major craziness! Read all about it…

Farewell To Friends, and Fun On Farms

We finished up our west coast shows with The Used in San Francisco at the Warfield last week. Crazy place! The venue is really nice, but the area surrounding was sketchier than the worst DC neighborhood I've ever seen! A friend of mine got beat up by a bum who wanted a cigarette. Anyway, we said our goodbyes to Bert, Quinn, Jeff, Dan, and the dudes from The Bled. All those guys were really cool to us on this tour, much love!

What was the coolest, er, nerdiest part of Vince's weekend? Find out!

The Ride of a Lifetime

Last week, I had to get up early to catch a morning flight to New Orleans. We had played the night before, and I had only gotten a couple hours of sleep. My flight was at 8 AM, so I got up at 5:45 AM to catch the 6:30 AM shuttle from the hotel to the airport. And I was a zombie.

I gathered my bags together and stumbled into the lobby of the hotel. The sign said I should be waiting for the shuttle there at 6:15 AM. A nice-looking older man, looking to be in his 50s or early 60s, was sitting there in one of the chairs. He asked if I was headed to the airport and I said yes as I walked past him to the continental breakfast where I toasted up a bagel for breakfast.

Vince learned an incredible lesson. Read all about it!

Lost In AC

Sup guys,

I just had a serious Spinal Tap moment. For those of you who don't know Spinal Tap, it's an old movie that spoofs an 80's hair metal band with the same name. It's really funny, making fun of things that happen to bands like stage malfunctions, stupid arguments, controlling girlfriends, bad harmonies, and getting lost in a big venue. Well, the last thing just happened to me...

Uh-oh! You've gotta hear this story!

Greetings From Portland, Ore.

Hello from the road!

We have officially begun our big fall tour. We're in the middle of a drive from Portland, Ore., to Oakland, Calif. -- almost there...

On Wednesday, we flew to Portland. Then on Thursday, we played at a really cool little venue called Mississippi Studios. It had a tiny little stage, and the audience sat in chairs and church pews that were arranged in the room. Afterwards, we ate at a burrito place, and I found a cool new jacket at the little boutique called BLUE.

Never been to Portland? Vince gives you the lowdown.
