Leo may be king of the big screen nowadays, but he got his start as a kid on the small screen. First came short-lived sitcom Parenthood, followed by a regular slot on Growing Pains. But Leo's talent wouldn't be contained by a TV set -- he soon broke out into feature films, showing his acting chops in serious flicks like This Boy's Life and What's Eating Gilbert Grape?, for which he got an Oscar nod (the first of many to come!).
