What's funnier than awkward peeps at prom? Awkward adults at prom! HIMYM never fails to entertain since the stars of the show act like teenagers most of the time, so putting them in a sitch where they can actually be teens was just perf. In the ep, Lily and Robin decide to crash a prom in NJ because a band is playing there that Lily might want for her wedding. Lily suffers a few bad prom flashbacks of things moving too quickly for her with her high school BF and comes to the realization that she has cold feet about her wedding with Marshall. After Robin's high school date upchucks all over her dress and Barney uses a mascot turtle costume to get in, it's safe to say that the crew has had enough.

Lesson Learned: Don't bring outside drama into prom.
