Britney Spears and Kevin Federline

Britney didn't initially plan to have a secret ceremony. In fact, she sent out 100 invitations for a lavish celebration for all of her friends and family at a posh resort in Santa Barbara before realizing that she wanted to keep it small and secret. Brit and Kevin scrapped the monstrous wedding idea in favor of a surprise bash in September 2004, which included just 27 of their closest friends and fam. All their guests were kept in the dark about the surprise nuptials until minutes before they said their "I dos"! The couple shed many tears during the ceremony and as we all know, the tears did not stop there. At least the wedding sounded fun -- it was followed by a Brit-esque night of clubbing!
