Superheroes usually have a positive image. The public loves them, and they love saving people. But Hancock is not one of those heroes. For one thing, he's an alcoholic. Even though fulfills his hero duties, he's still public enemy. Let's face it -- with his super human strength, he just seems like a super bully to regular people. A publicist tries to reform Hancock's crooked personality and he serves some time in jail, and he seems like a changed man. He publicly apologizes and announces that he will cooperate with the government. So will he collaborate with the government in peace, or will his old habits come back to haunt him?
