Why We're Stoked: Even if Keri Hilson's name doesn't sound familiar, her voice certainly will -- she sings on Timbaland's "The Way I Are." Now, she's getting an album all her own. In A Perfect World was slated for a mid-2007 release, but was pushed back to early 2008. "It was really important for me to write songs that women can relate to from real situations," she tells MTV. "I didn’t want to do an album that painted myself as perfect because no matter how things look, no one is." As for the sound, she says it includes "hard-hitting drums, R&B melodies, some pop elements, even some alternative." Besides her mentor, Timbaland, Keri's got major hip-hop heavyweights behind her, including Ludacris and Snoop Dogg among others. And guess who else helped with the album? Fellow Timbaland collaborator, Justin Timberlake!
