Playing off the Beverly Hills stereotype, Alicia Silverstone is Cher Horowitz, a haute snob who eases her troubles on Rodeo Dr. and would rather die than ruin her Alaia original. But it wasn't just Cher -- every major '90's trend from grunge to prep-dom was perfectly on display. Costume designer Mona May made knee socks, thigh highs, pleated plaid skirts and Mary Janes the must-haves of the '90s. And maybe even now. You don't agree? What-ever!
