What's a day like in the life of Perez?
I start working before the sun rises, and I continue working well after it sets. I wake up at 6 a.m., and by 6:05, I'm on the phone doing radio interviews -- I do a ton of them everyday. At 7 a.m., I'm already at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, [a chain coffee shop in L.A.]. I usually do one TV appearance a day, whether it's a live thing or something that's pre-taped, and I usually have one business meeting. Around 4, I meet with my trainer, after that I work some more. [And] I work in between. I'm working all the time -- checking e-mails, working, writing. I work harder than anyone I know!

You work seven days a week. How often do you go out?
Oh, too many. Six?

What's the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is writing and being creative. Making people's workday more fun, sharing info, expressing myself through my website. And all the other things I get to do as a result of that. I love it. I'm happy when I get a great scoop or something funny. I think I'm good at it. I have fun and that comes across. I try to engage my readers, and hopefully they have fun with it, too.

Who's your favorite celeb to write about?
There's a bunch. I love writing about Tara Reid, Jennifer Aniston, Star Jones, Clay Aiken, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Kirsten Dunst, Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie, Jake Gyllenhaal, Paris -- all of them. It's whoever interests me.
