jessica lucas of THE COVENANT

The name's Jessica Lucas and I play Kate Tunney in the new Screen Gems movie, The Covenant. I'm 20 years old (almost 21) and I currently live in Vancouver, British Columbia. I enjoy reading, playing competitive softball, and yoga. I started acting when I was 7 years old as part of a Children's Theatre Arts program. We would put on little performances with excerpts from musicals like Gypsy, A Chorus Line, and Annie. After the program ended, I continued performing in local theatre productions until I was about 13 and then transitioned into TV and film.

I've been fortunate enough to work on many projects since then. I've learned a lot and had so many amazing experiences. The Covenant was no exception. We filmed the movie in Montreal, a place I had never been. I immediately fell in love with the city because it had so much history and felt very European. When the cast met for the first time, we clicked instantly, especially the boys. They created a bond that was so special and it really comes across on screen. I'm so proud of them because they worked so hard; they had to work out, do swimming training, wire training, and portray their characters.
