sebastian stan of THE COVENANT
September 8, 2006
So a little bit on the genius, dangerous, mysterious Casanova that is Chase Collins. Ever since he was a little kid, you could say, people have associated Chase with danger. Besides being incredibly daring and eager in exploring his powers, Chase has always been confident in who he is, never letting anyone take advantage of him or belittle him. They feared him because they were scared of his unusual behavior, often being aloof and in his own world, thinking, daydreaming, observing life around him. Being slightly detached, people pointed him out as an outcast, never really taking a chance to know him or to discover that he could actually be their most loyal best friend. And so he spent his time learning about who he is, exploring his powerful gift and mastering his powers, knowing full well that one day would come when he would rise above and regain his place, which he so rightfully deserved, into the world that shunned him.
Playing Chase Collins was incredibly fun. It finally gave me license to challenge my fears; one of them being heights. Before I finally learned how to fly, I fell out of the harness that was meant to support me through the air. In a way, I took pride in being the only one to prove the flawless system wrong. At the same time, I thought I saw my life slip out slowly as I was dangling upside down suspended by wires.
