Spencer Locke
When we heard Spencer Locke's answers to our It Chick questions, we were laughing out loud! (And it's pretty hard to make us chuckle.) But you've gotta have a great personality when you portray a character onscreen solely using your voice. That's what Spencer had to do for her new role in animated flick, Monster House. In the movie, she plays courageous Jenny, who leads two bumbling boys through a possessed house to save their neighborhood. Even though you can't see Spencer in the flesh, that doesn't mean she's not there. "I see myself [in Jenny]. I did every single scene and so it brings back every moment that I spent on that set, and it really brings back great memories," she says. "[The voice is] 100 percent Spencer!" You'll actually see Spencer onscreen next year in Resident Evil 3: Extinction as K-Mart, which she says was her favorite role so far. But that'll undoubtedly be topped if Spencer ever stars alongside Drew Barrymore. "I've loved her since -- forever," she says. "She's so talented [and] smart, and [she] seems like she would be such a sweet lady to work with." Don't worry, Spence! With your talent and wit, we're sure you'll star alongside Ms. Drew someday!
What bothers you most about being a girl?
Nothing about being a girl really bothers me -- I definitely wouldn't want to be a boy!
What do you like most about being a girl?
Talking about boys with my girlfriends. Plus, girls have many more options in the fashion department than those stinky boys [do].
