Cheyenne Kimball

When millions of people tuned in to America's Most Talented Kid in 2002, they knew they were watching some brilliantly gifted tykes -- they didn't know they were getting a first look at a star on the rise. Cheyenne Kimball, who was only 12 at the time, won the title and the attention of major label execs. "I auditioned just to see where I would rank. I had been playing [gigs] around town, and I wanted to see what people thought of me because when I played a show, everyone would clap but I didn't know what they were really thinking," she says. Fast-forward four years: At 15, Cheyenne's got a multi-record contract, a new album dropping in June, and an MTV reality show following her rise to fame debuting in May. "We started filming [Cheyenne] last July," she says. "[The crew] is with us ten hours a day -- [they're] basically living with us!" But this Texas gal definitely deserves the attention: She's been writing lyrics since she was 7 years-old, playing guitar since she was 8, and creating her own blend of blues and rock, or "Block." Here's your chance to check out this talented teen!

What bothers you most about being a girl?
Having to deal with guys, definitely.

What do you like most about being a girl?
There are a lot of perks to being a girl. We can wear makeup when we have a blemish, and that's really nice. And we get to wear a lot of different clothes. Guys can only wear jeans, but we get to wear dresses and skirts and jeans. I'm all about clothes!
