What about your character, America?
America Ferrera: Carmen didn't have that amazing first year college experience, where you're finding yourself and what you love. So, she couldn't wait to get home and get back to what she was used to: her family and friends. But things change. She comes home to find out that her mom's getting remarried and having a baby. She tries to get back with the old Sisterhood, too, but they've all decided to go away and make their own plans for the summer. We're all moving apart a lot as we try to find our own way in life, but while trying to maintain the friendship.
