It's pretty impressive when you win a major industry award before you've released an album. That's exactly what's happened for Adele! Last December, the up-and-coming songstress (who just turned 20 this week) was given the first ever Critics' Choice award at the Brit Awards before her debut album 19 even hit stores. "I'm really chuffed and flattered to have won the new category," she told UK's Times newspaper. "I've always wanted a Brit, and I'm made up to be getting one so early on." With comparisons to fellow BRIT School alumna, Amy Winehouse, we're betting it's not the last prestigious accolade this soulful singer will see.
