The Old: Freaks and Geeks
We were so heartbroken when Freaks and Geeks went off the air, but we weren't the only ones. Fans united to sign a petition and had three extra episodes aired when the show was canceled. This was a show about real high school kids that you could actually relate to instead of popular rich kids with unlimited supplies to cash.

The New: Degrassi
Sure, Degrassi might be a tad more dramatic, but we love it just as much. Degrassi maintains its realistic point of view and at the same time, it's peppered with nonstop drama. Where else can you get a show about teens dealing with serious real life issues like homosexuality, eating disorders, school shootings, and STDs?
