Tell us about your hair and costumes in Hairspray . [My hair was always] in this weird thing -- I’d never done a period piece before, so that was definitely strange for me. My favorite outfit is definitely the one in the Hairspray posters -- the green jumper.

What’s up with your new fashion line called ‘Dear’? What’ll it be like? It’s at Steve & Barry’s and will be coming out in August. You can expect inexpensive clothes that young girls can wear to school. It has been a really fun project for me to work on, because it’s all really inexpensive, so it’s really cool for me.
