Rory, the Ex-Con

Things took a bit of a rocky turn for Rory the night she was told by a newspaper bigwig that she'd make a crappy reporter. Quick recap: She stole a boat with Logan, got caught, went to the clink for a sec, dropped out of Yale, moved in with her grandparents and got socked with a heap load of community service. This all amounted to Lorelai and Rory ceasing to speak. Note to CW: Having Rory and Lorelai in a major, non-talking, angry fight for a million episodes was probably the worst idea ever.
