Lindsay Lohan had heavy-duty promoting to do this week for her new film, Georgia Rule, but she managed to get involved in something even more publicized. UK's News of the World published pics from a security camera tape of her doing drugs at an L.A. hotspot in March; the paper also printed the testimonial of an unnamed "friend," who says that Lindsay is really getting out of hand. "I remember looking at her and thinking how pathetic she looked and how out of control she had become," the source says, adding that she's released the video, "So the world can know what Lindsay has been doing and she can't lie about it to herself or anyone else." Could this scandal affect L.Lo's career? Some say yes, unless she straightens out and begs the public for forgiveness. But not everyone counts Lindsay down and out: her Georgia Rule co-star, Oscar-winner Jane Fonda supports L.Lo. "We can't know what it's like to grow up famous starting at 12 with such family problems," she tells Us Weekly. "We have to give Lindsay a break sometimes and be a little more understanding."
