Go, Zac! Go!

Zac Efron is a busy man these days. The High School Musical hottie finished filming Hairspray, moved on to shoot High School Musical 2, and is now allegedly in talks to star in the live-action adaptation of cartoon series, Speed Racer. Zac was even granted permission to leave the HSM 2 set for a day to attend the movie's callback audition, The New York Times reports. Even if he gets the part (and we so think he should), you'll have a bit of a wait to see Zac in his racecar gear -- the movie isn't scheduled for release until May 2008. Whoever plays Speed Racer's GF Trixie is one lucky girl!
