So what made you get involved in Ugly Betty's Be Ugly '07 campaign?
They sent out sort of a blast to songwriters and people in the music world, and said, "We're looking for this type of song -- here's our mission statement." I read the mission statement, and I'm like, "Yeah this is pretty positive stuff. I enjoy positive music. Work for the greater good." But I'd never seen the show because I don't have a television.
