Bam was born Brandon Cole Margera on September 28, 1979. He got his nickname when he was little -- his grandfather called him Bam Bam because he was totally wild as a kid (not like that's hard to believe!). At 13, Bam skated to superstardom as a pro with inspired street style, as well as a wild streak. In January 2005, Bam was the first street skater and the 13th overall skater to land The Loop in Phoenix, Ariz. While he doesn't skate that much in the professional realm these days (he'd rather turn his parents' house into a skate park), he's sponsored by some of the top skate companies, including Element and Adio.
