Are you a Rebel Without Applause with pretty feet and a butt shelf? Then chances are you're either Olympics-bound or a major fan of the gymnastics flick, Stick It (coming to DVD Sept. 19). Not well-versed on Stick It slang? Allow us to translate.

Butt shelf: a gymnastics stance where one's buttocks appear to stick out; usually done at the beginning or end of a routine; related term: Butt-ahara.

Sample sentence: When Hayley mocks Joanne's balance beam routine, she ends it with a classic butt shelf and fake farting noises.
