Not So Clueless

In 1995, Brittany got her big break, starring as ugly duckling-turned-queen-bee Tai in instant classic Clueless. In the movie, Brittany charmed audiences, showcased her comedic talents, and proved she was one to watch on the Hollywood scene. "I'd never been in a film before, so it was really exciting," Brittany once told MTV. "I was only 15, and I was really intimidated. I felt as though I was the freshman watching the seniors. The one person who bridged the gap was Alicia [Silverstone]. She always was very kind to me. She was the person I spent the most time with -- her and her dog." Upon hearing about Brittany's tragic death, Alicia issued a statement: "I'm so saddened to hear this news. I loved working with Brittany. She was so talented, so warm and so sweet. I always felt connected to her as we shared a very special experience in our lives together. I feel love in my heart for her -- and hope she is at peace."
