OK, if you're 26 years old, would you want your Mom or Dad telling you what to do? That's what Jessica Simpson should be asking herself, given her parents seem to want to run almost every aspect of her life these days. According to MSN.com, Jess' mom, Tina recently killed a sexy photo shoot her daughter was doing for OK! after she decided it didn't project the right "image" of her daughter. "Time out! Hold it!" she reportedly ordered the photographer. "Nope, this isn't going to work." Jess' mom went on, insisting her daughter looked "slutty" and that changes had to be made ASAP. And like most mothers, this maternal know-it-all wasn't happy until they did exactly what she said. "Trust me, I'm her mother. This isn't the image we want," she insisted. (Yes, because your daughter running around in a pair of daisy dukes for months on end was exactly the type of role model every teenage girl who's bigger than a size 2 needs in her life.)
