Pete Wentz: Total Poser?
OK, we thought the nudie pics of Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz that were leaked online were very rock 'n' roll, but any cool points he might have earned just went right out the window by the announcement that he and the boys have their own dolls coming to a Hot Topic near you in September. According to the toymaker behind this lil' endeavor, the dolls are "dressed in the sorta Sgt. Pepper's-inspired garb the band wore on their recent Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour [and] are approximately 7 inches tall and boast swiveling necks and shoulders." Needless to say, even though we're not entirely cool with this, Pete's not sweatin' it. "I remember playing with G.I. Joes back in the day, when my ultimate dream ever was to get the aircraft carrier," he tells MTV. "[So] to be approached to be made into one is absolutely amazing. To be honest, our only offense about them is people calling them 'action figures.' We feel safe in our own skin. Let's just call them 'dolls.'" God, what's next? Panic at the Disco trading cards?
