How does it feel to be nominated for a Grammy?
I've only had my record out for nine months. I feel like I've almost crossed some life goals off already in this small period of time. The Grammy's is kind of like the end-all, be-all. It's like the most respect you can get from the industry. All of the other awards were fantastic, from MTV to People's Choice but the Grammy's are something you dream about when you're nine years old. And so when this really important nomination happened to me, I was like, "Holy crap -- I got recognized from a classic, amazing industry."

What are you planning on wearing?
There's a group that I work with a lot called "The Blondes." They sketched out an amazing fruity concoction of a number for my performance for the Grammy's, and so it'll be very exciting to kind of reveal that.

If you don't win Best Female Vocal Performance, who would you like to win instead?
I'm kind of voting for Adele. I think Leona's fantastic as well, [but] I think Adele is just someone that will be around in 100 years. The whole music world will change and trends will come and go, but she's kind of very classic and she's really good.
