What a week for Gossip Girl fans! Blair told Chuck it's over between them, the Van der Woodsens and the Humphreys shared a Brady Bunch moment, and now the rumored Gossip Girl spinoff has been given the green light! The more GG, the merrier! The spinoff will center on a teenage Lily van der Woodsen and will be set in L.A. in the 80s. Too bad Jenny wouldn't have been born yet -- her haircut would have fit in perfectly!

The plot follows Lily as she is forced to move in with her "black sheep" sister after a fight with her 'rents. Her sis isn't exactly rollin' in the dough, so Lily must get used to public school life (how could she?!) and living on her own. "Caught between two worlds, Lily dives into the fast-paced Sunset Strip and the Hollywood lifestyle of the '80s, journeying over the hill to a world of wealth and excess that used to be her own," according to a Warner Bros. statement. The show will air as an episode of GG on May 11. Thoughts?
