It seems like 2008 was the year for surprise nuptials. Remember way back in mid-2008 when Mariah and Nick Cannon surprised everyone and got hitched? Fans weren't the only ones left confused about their decision. Nick's ex, Christina Milian, shared the same sentiments. "I definitely was shocked like everybody else," she tells Rap-Up mag. Christina and Nick dated back in 2005 and were "so young" when they were together, she says. The exes haven't spoken since Nick started dating Mariah. "I was like, 'Really?' It just seemed like a weird match," Christina dishes. "But I was happy for him. I always feel Nick works hard to get what he wants, whether that be women -- that's how he got me. He's a beautiful person. Regardless of what I felt in the past at the time, I actually forgive him and I'm very much over that." We hope so, girl, because Mariah could definitely put up a fight!
