We're totally in on the movie musical craze and couldn't be more excited for Fame to be revived in theatres in September 2009! Fame swept the Oscars in 1980 as an awesome depiction of the world of aspiring dancers, singers, actors, and artists on their journey to try and hit it big. Who will star as the down-on-their luck artists? Asher Book from pop vocal group V Factory will play Marco, the charismatic singer/hottie from an Italian-American family. You've probs seen Asher before in the ABC Family movie Pop Rocks and on Zoey 101. Asher's new role in Fame isn't so far off from his real life. He got his big break at an open casting call for Disney's Beauty and the Beast and played the principal part of Chip the Teacup for two and a half years, which is longer than any other actor in the show's touring history.
