Breakout On The Big Screen

Breakout was Miley Cyrus' first non-Hannah Montana album, and now, she's making her big screen debut without her Disney alter ego. But Miley didn't need to go through the whole audition process -- her role, and the entire movie, in fact, is being tailored especially for her! Nicholas Sparks, author of The Notebook, is simultaneously writing a novel and its screenplay for Miley's movie. "This is similar to the way it's gone with movies based on my novels; it's just out of order," he says. "Certain opportunities garner your interest, and this was one of those." Nicholas was chosen because Miley cited A Walk to Remember starring Mandy Moore as an example of a non-singing project she'd like to be involved with at a meeting with Disney bigwigs, Variety reports. And as we know, whatever Miley wants, Miley gets!
