OK, so Britney Spears' peeps said she wouldn't be performing at the VMAs this year. But sneaky MTV found a way to have her open the show anyway! She'll be kicking off Sunday's festivities (where "Piece of Me" is up for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year), and we're hoping that she out-Britneys Britney! "MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs?" she says. "I'm excited to open the entire show, to say hi to my fans and to be nominated." Hopefully, she'll snag her first ever Moonman, too! (Can you believe she's never won one?!)
