Following in what's become tradition for new celeb mommies, Jamie Lynn Spears has debuted her baby girl Maddie Brainn in a cover story for OK! magazine. (Take a peek of her here.)
But despite this grand entrance into the tabloids, Jamie Lynn says, "Around here, everyone has the same focus. The focus is family, and that's a good way to live." That seems to go along with reports that Jamie Lynn wants to keep her daughter as far away from the spotlight and paparazzi craziness as possible. (She's even raising the baby in Kentwood as opposed to Hollywood.)
So why did she agree to the cover shoot? It was her mom, Lynne, who set up the deal, The Insider reports. And while she went along with it, Jamie Lynn is livid. "Jamie Lynn is in a huge fight with Lynne over a deal she made to sell the baby's photos to a magazine for a reported $1 million. Lynne made the deal months ago when Jamie Lynn's pregnancy was announced, and the then 16-year-old did what her mother wanted -- she agreed to the deal," a source says. "But now she has had a change of heart and doesn't want any cameras around her baby. She doesn't want Maddie to end up like Britney's sons, Sean and Jayden, being photographed every time they go anywhere. She wants no part of the Hollywood scene for her daughter." Finally -- a good decision from JLS!
