Have you been listening to DJ Kidd Kraddick's morning radio show? If you have, then you know all about Freddy Wexler. If not, then here's the story: Kidd Kraddick introduced Freddy to listeners in his "Music That Makes You Cooler" segment. And when he called Freddy on the show, he found out that Freddy once had a record deal, but was dropped. So Kidd told Freddy to drive down to Dallas and perform on his radio show on Friday morning.

So now Freddy (who happens to be super cute!) is making his way from the University of Pennsylvania where he's a student to Texas, playing shows along the way. What's cool is that people have been calling in and lending Freddy their support -- Yamaha lent him a piano, someone offered to videotape the journey, a truck rental company loaned him a truck to drive in, and fans have been calling in to give Freddy gas money and housing. How cute is that?!
