People magazine has joined Us Weekly and OK! in confirming Ashlee's pregnancy, adding that a source close to the family says Ash and Pete Wentz will tie the knot in May at a friend's house in Southern California. But did you think Ashlee Simpson would talk about the pregnancy rumors on TRL yesterday? Ha -- yeah right! What planet are you living on?

"I just think it's an inappropriate question to ask any woman," Ashlee said. "For me, that's something that I didn't ever want to respond to, because I think it's an inappropriate question. Some things, you want to keep personal, and I think that when people deny [reports], it's probably because it's something they want to keep personal." Hmm…what's that supposed to mean?

Ashlee was also tight-lipped when asked about her recent engagement to Pete Wentz. "That's all so sacred, I need to keep that to myself, but he did a great job at picking out the ring," she said, adding that it's being resized. "It was important for us [to announce the engagement ourselves]. There was a story coming out and people ... always write untrue things, and we wanted to let our fans know from us." Yeah -- so out with the baby news…yay or nay?
