Last week, we told you that Jay-Z and Beyoncé were set to tie the knot. Well, it's official! At least that's what their pal Mary J. Blige told the audience at her concert in North Carolina on Saturday. (She's currently touring with J.) "Congratulations to my man, Jay-Z, and my girl B!" she said before singing "You're All I Need."
While their reps won't confirm, Jay-Z and Beyoncé got married at Jay's apartment in NYC on Friday, sources say. "It was amazing -- very special, very private, very intimate," an insider tells Us Weekly. "Everyone had so much fun. It ended up being a wild party. DJ Cassidy was spinning and people partied until 4:30 a.m." Beyoncé wore a white dress with a low V-neck and thick straps and a veil; her hair was in a half ponytail with ringlet curls, decorated with a white flower. The very limited guest list included B's former Destiny's Child band mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and pals Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. The reason behind getting married on 4/4 is that the couple likes the number: they were each born on the fourth day of a month and have matching IV tattoos on their ring fingers.
Congrats to them!
