Good news from the set of How I Met Your Mother! Britney Spears apparently did a fab job while filming her guest starring spot on Wednesday and Thursday. "She was lovely," Alyson Hannigan tells Us Weekly. "She’s just a person -- so sweet and funny. We just talked about our clothes and dogs, and it was surprisingly just normal." Adds actor Jason Segel, "She’s beautiful. You know, I was so focused on her hair that I’m overwhelmed with adjectives! She was great and lovely… She was better than all five of us, so I guess that says a lot." Another show source tells People that Brit "very sweet and cute," "chewed gum obsessively on set," and "got along really well with everyone."

Britney had a great time onset as well. "Working at How I Met Your Mother has been so terrific," she tells People. "Everyone, including the cast, the crew and the producers, has been wonderful and [my character] Abby is such a fun girl to play. I'm having a blast!" Her shooting schedule was worked around visits with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, an insider says, who adds that her time with the boys "was very important." Britney's parents Jamie and Lynn were present during filming to watch their daughter in action. "Her parents kept thanking everyone onset ... saying this is just what their daughter needed," the source says. Aww!
