The O.C.'s Marissa Cooper and Gossip Girl's Serena van der Woodsen would be perfect partners-in-crime. Sadly, we'll never see that happen -- first and foremost, because Marissa's dead. But in what would be the closest thing possible, Mischa Barton was been approached to play the recurring role of Georgina Sparks, a old friend of Serena's who schemes to revive the former party girl's shady past. Too bad she turned down the role! "She will not be on the show," her rep tells Us Weekly. "She was approached, but her reps passed."

Back when she was written off The O.C., Mischa told Newsweek that she didn't want to leave Newport Beach, that it was the decision of the show's producers (including Josh Schwartz, who now produces Gossip Girl). "But I really think it's best to do movies now," she said.
