We're really glad US Weekly wasted a whole issue dissecting the Nick Lachey/Kristin Cavallari hook-up, you know, considering they're already broken up! The New York Post reports that Nick finally came to his senses and decided the age difference (13 years, to be exact) was a lil' too much even for him. "Nick didn't want to freak everyone out -- she was too young and he knew it would look bad," says a spy for the newspaper. Hey, it's not like KC is shedding any tears over the short-lived romance. Rumor has it, she's head-over-heels happy and back with her ex, Brody Jenner. Hmm...hot young blonde with big celebrity aspirations. Hey Nick, are you starting to sense a pattern here or what?
