Catfight Canned!
Forget what you're about to read in this week's US Weekly. Linday Lohan and Jessica Simpson don't hate each other -- their gay hairdressers do. According to that darlin' diva, Perez Hilton, the supposed catfight that's on the cover of this week's mag never happened, and it was actually members of their perspective (oh-so-catty) posses that got to clawin'. Of course, the ladies did have some issues -- namely Jess ignoring Linds as soon as she walked in the door to make a beeline for La-La's new man, director, Bret Ratner. "I guess [Lindsay] was jealous that her new guy [was] spending time with someone who [was] being mean to her," says a source, referring to Jessica and her stylist (also named Jessica, who was reportedly talkin' smack about Lindsay). "Jessica was never in tears," another eyewitness snitches. "In fact, she said that she was too old for this and that she felt like she was in high school." Big props to the ladies for keeping their diva instincts on the DL. Word is, Linds went the classy route and eventually joined Jessica's table and chatted her up about her new flick. If only Hilary Duff had been there to witness this great miracle...
