OK, we've got more news to share:
So Britney's shrink (who she's been seeing daily as treatment for her bipolar disorder) called the cops because of her "downhill behavior," including her reckless driving, uncontrolled behavior, and inability to sleep since Saturday, TMZ reports.
Unlike her last involuntary committal, Britney did not fight against going to the hospital this time. When her psychiatrist said she was going to the hospital, Britney said, "Is something wrong?" and proceeded to make hot chocolate while she waited for paramedics to arrive and put her on a gurney. When manager Sam Lufti told Britney that he'd been working with her psychiatrist and the police on getting her committed, mama Lynne Spears allegedly got angry and accused Sam (with whom she does not get along) of trying to control her daughter. Brit then told everyone to "shut up," adding "I'll do what I need to do." She then demanded silence and sat on the floor, passing notes to people in the room as they waited for the ambulance and police to arrive.
